Anna Dabrowski is an Engineering Scientist Associate in the Data Management and Collections group at the Texas Advanced Computing Center, University of Texas (Austin, TX, USA). She spends most of her time on the boundary between researchers and developers, modeling data and identifying appropriate metadata for researchers’ use cases. She’s pleased to collaborate closely with experts in data stewardship at the University Libraries, and is also interested in data publication, provenance, and digital preservation practices.
Previously, she was an Assistant Professor and the Data Management Librarian at Texas A&M University Libraries (College Station, TX, USA). While there, she developed a new research data management service area, providing consultations, software tools, and training to university researchers.
Anna occasionally co-organizes and instructs Carpentry workshops. She holds a BA in Linguistics from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL, USA) and an MSc in Information Science from the University of Copenhagen (Copenhagen, Denmark).
