Work Bio

Currently, I’m taking time off regular work to expand my skillset in GIS and volunteer on land conservation projects as a Master Naturalist.

Previously, I was Principle Data Lifecycle Product Owner for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (CA, USA). Before that, I deployed and administered a new data governance software platform and facilitated data quality improvements at The Nature Conservancy (VA, USA).

In the past, I worked in academia. At the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TX, USA) I modeled data for management on high-performance computing systems, and developed metadata standards to meet a variety of research needs. I was also an Assistant Professor and the Data Management Librarian at Texas A&M University Libraries (TX, USA). While there, I launched a new research data management service area for the libraries.
